Vattenfall
Vattenfall is Europe's fifth largest generator of electricity and the largest generator of heat. Our vision is to be a leading European energy company. Vattenfall acts in all parts of the electricity value chain - generation, transmission, distribution and sales. We are also active in electricity trading and generate, distribute and sell heat. Vattenfall currently has operations in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Great Britain, Germany, the Netherlands and Poland. The parent company, Vattenfall AB, is wholly owned by the Swedish State.
A key strategy for us is to reshape our generation portfolio towards clean energy, i.e. renewables, nuclear and clean coal.
