CCSA Annual Parliamentary Reception, 23 June 2010

The CCSA held its AGM and annual parliamentary reception at the House of Lords, kindly hosted by Lord Oxburgh of Liverpool. The event was well attended and was introduced by Gardiner Hill (Chairman of the CCSA), with speakers including Lord Oxburgh (President of the CCSA) and Charles Hendry (Minister of State for the Department of Energy and Climate Change).

CCSA Annual Parliamentary Reception, 25 June 09

The CCSA held its AGM and annual parliamentary reception on a beautiful day at the House of Lords. The event was kindly hosted by Lord Jenkin of Roding and speakers included Lord Hunt of Kings Heath (Minister of State for the Department of Energy and Climate Change), Gardiner Hill (Chairman of the CCSA) and Jeff Chapman (Chief Executive). The Association launched its new manifesto ‘Carbon capture and storage – building a low carbon economy’ and briefing leaflet 'Carbon capture and storage - a crucial technology in addressing climate change' at the event.

CCS Implementation Workshop, 29 April 09

The Association together with the Office of Chris Davies MEP held a joint workshop on implementing CCS across Europe. This took place on the 29th April 2009 at the European Parliament and was a successful event with a large number of CCS interested stakeholders. View the presentations:

British-Norwegian Workshop on CCS, 23 April 2008

A workshop on The Business Case for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) was today held at the offices of Deutsche Bank in London. Co-supported by the Association, this successful event was a joint British-Norwegian effort, covering a wide range of issues such as financing CCS, comparing technologies and building the CO2 value chain. CCSA First Annual President's Reception, 22 May 2007

The Association held its President's Reception on the House of Lords Terrace on Tuesday 22 May 2007 with Lord Truscott, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Energy, as the Guest of Honour. The event was a great success and was extremely well attended.
