ESB is an Irish power utility which has a solid track record dating back to 1927.
ESB Energy International (ESBEI) provides an umbrella organisation for ESB’s competitive energy businesses including ESBI.
It invests in, builds and owns a portfolio of power stations in Ireland and overseas including CCGT’s, OCGT, Coal, Wind, Hydro and Pumped Storage and has operations and maintenance contracts totaling over 5,500MW around the world. In addition, it trades electricity in competitive European energy markets.
With a mission of building a strong portfolio of energy assets for the future, ESB Energy International strives to shape market, regulatory and competitive environments, underpinned by best-in-class engineering, project management, safety and technical risk management capability.
At ESB Energy International, we invest in, build, own, operate and maintain power plants in both national and international energy markets. ESB Energy International also offers a full range of engineering, operations and maintenance solutions, and strategic consultancy services to the global energy market.
