Rhead Group
The Rhead Group is a privately owned consultancy providing professional services for the delivery of international construction programmes. We currently manage a portfolio worth over four billion dollars annually on behalf of clients in the energy transmission, power generation, water, defence, air & maritime and transport sectors from our offices in the UK, South Africa and the UAE.
Our knowledge of the oil and gas sectors, and of the development of on and offshore pipeline networks including compression facilities like those used to capture, transport and store carbon underground, is proving invaluable and the Rhead Group is playing a pivotal part in the collaboration between government and industry in the development and deployment of CCS technology. Currently our specialists are:
- helping to assess the requirements for a CCS capability at Longannet and are providing specialist support in the development of a carbon transportation infrastructure for the UK and overseas.
