RPS Group Plc is an international consultancy providing advice upon: the development of land, property and infrastructure; the exploration and production of energy and other natural resources; the management of the environment and the health and safety of people.
We trade in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Eastern Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia and South East Asia and undertake projects in many other parts of the world.

With an annual turnover of £444m in 2009, RPS is listed in the FTSE 250 and has been included in the FTSE4Good Index of socially responsible companies since the scheme's inception.
Since 2001, RPS has been involved in more than 250 onshore and offshore wind, wave and tidal energy projects. These include 90% of the current UK offshore wind-farm capacity; the London Array, which when completed will provide around 25% of London's electricity supply, and one of the world's largest onshore wind power schemes in Texas. RPS is also advising clients on the decommissioning of old nuclear power stations and with the development of new ones.
RPS recognised some time ago that we could make a contribution to the delivery of environmentally acceptable sourcing of oil and gas. Over the last five years we have built up a world-class team advising clients on a range of global issues, including: the nature and value of their reserves and the environmental, health and safety and quality control issues involved in exploration and production.
We are investing in developing our ability to advise how best to secure safe and economic carbon capture and storage. Storage will undoubtedly be a major part of the response to global warming and RPS is already well positioned at the forefront of this important and growing new sector.
RPS is listed in the top twenty of the AJ100 and Britain's Top Employer's 2008. RPS has been the UK's leading planning consultancy for eleven years consecutively, according to the RTPI survey published in Planning. RPS was the first environmental consultancy in the UK when it was formed in 1970 and has been an outstanding market leader and innovator in this sector ever since.
