A flagship project for United Infrastructure is The Liverpool Bay CO₂ Transportation and Storage project. As part of the landmark HyNet North West industrial decarbonisation cluster, the project will develop new and repurposed CO₂ pipeline infrastructure to safely transport captured carbon emissions from industrial sites across North West England and North Wales for permanent offshore storage beneath Liverpool Bay to support the country’s journey towards a net zero future.
As a member of the Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA), United Infrastructure is committed to working collaboratively with industry partners, policymakers and stakeholders to deliver the infrastructure needed to scale carbon capture and storage across the UK, helping create a more resilient, sustainable and secure energy future.
