The CCSA is the lead European association accelerating the commercial deployment of carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS), an essential solution to deliver net zero emissions across industry, heat, power and transport.

The CCSA represents the interests of companies and organisations seeking to develop commercial-scale CCUS projects.

We work with members, governments and other organisations to ensure CCUS is developed and deployed at the pace and scale necessary to meet net zero goals and deliver sustainable growth across Europe.

CCSA members are drawn from a wide range of sectors such as industry, equipment manufacturing, oil and gas, distribution, academia and regional bodies – as well as the associated supply chain and service sector.

What We Do

By bringing members together through working groups and other events, the CCSA is able to represent the CCUS industry to media, government officials, and other key stakeholders.

We achieve this by:

  • Engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders to promote the crucial role that CCUS will play in meeting net zero goals
  • Representing the CCUS industry at key meetings and external events, as well as on social media
  • Hosting member working group meetings to inform members, develop position papers and respond to public consultations
  • Organising a range of events, conferences and webinars to facilitate networking, information exchange and build broad support for CCUS
  • Providing a reliable and credible source of information on CCUS developments around the world to members and interested stakeholders
