The CCUS All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) AGM chaired by Alex Cunningham MP took place on Tuesday the 29th of March, followed by an in-depth presentation and discussion on the CCSA’s “CCUS Delivery Plan 2035”.

This meeting provided MPs and Peers, as well as CCSA Members, external stakeholders and members of the public, with an opportunity to learn more about the Delivery Plan, the methodology of the work and the key conclusions & actions.

The CCUS Delivery Plan 2035 sets out the industry view of the build-out rates for Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) in the UK that could deliver the Government’s Net Zero Strategy ambition of storing 50Mt CO2 per year by 2035.  The Plan also identifies critical actions to enable scaling up of the UK industry in line with this ambition.
