Neptune Energy is an independent energy company with operations across Europe, North Africa and Asia Pacific. We aim to store more carbon than is emitted from our operations and the use of our sold products by 2030. We provide secure supplies of energy with a differentiated portfolio that is gas-weighted, long life, low cost and lower carbon.

We have significant experience in CCS, having carried out a 14-year project on our K12-B platform offshore in the Netherlands, reinjecting CO₂ into the gas field. Our L10 CCS project has the potential to store between 4-9 million tonnes of CO₂ a year for third-party industrial customers into depleted gas fields. We have also identified suitable reservoirs in Norway that support future acreage nominations. In the UK, we have been awarded three CCS licences
